What does the process look like?

Step 1: Initial Discovery Call
As it is a priority for us to find the most suitable care solution for you, the first step is a free initial discovery call with our experienced nurse to understand and discuss your individual needs.

Step 2: Home Environment Assessment
After the initial call, the nurse will decide with you whether a home assessment should be done to consider the practical issues associated with your condition, your home environment, and the community facilities nearby. If appropriate, we may recommend installing equipment or adaptations after the visit to make your home safer, easier to navigate, and encourage you to maintain your independence. We will also consider the skills and capabilities of the carer in order to maximize their abilities and relieve them of stress through actual training and counselling.

Step 3: Caretaker Training
If you already have a designated caretaker at home, we will provide caregiver training to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to provide effective care for those facing health challenges, including basic care skills, communication techniques, safety protocols, and understanding various medical conditions.

Step 4: Caretaker Support
If you do not already have a designated caretaker at home, we would recommend a health care assistant or nurse to provide home care services catered to your personalised needs. We may also recommend hiring an additional caretaker on a part-time basis even if you already have a primary caretaker, to ensure that you are given the most appropriate and effective care.
After an initial consultation to assess your individual needs, we can determine the most suitable care for you.

Personalised rehabilitation training
Everyone's needs are different, and we make sure to personalise the training to support those differences. The personalised training will involve teaching the caregiver various ways to interact with the patient/senior that support their wellbeing and recovery, often with the aid of equipment like playing cards and shape blocks.
Interested in engaging with us for a group training session?
We have worked with multiple organisations and education institutions to provide basic medical services training (e.g. how to properly draw blood from a patient, measure blood pressure, etc) and caregiver training.
